May 25th was Bring a Towel Day and I forgot. I consider myself a science fiction nerd and now my cred has suffered a severe blow. In an effort to assure you that I belong to the true nerd crowd (as opposed to the poser nerd, wannabe nerd or strangely numerous sexy librarian crowd) I declare that Ursula LeGuin is indeed epic.

What I should have been wearing

 

Although I probably would have spent the day using that towel to flick anyone wearing this.
